Virginia's Soy-Bread Recipe

  • Salt 1 1/2 tsp

  • Sugar 3 Tbs

  • Dry milk 1 1/2 Tbs

  • Soy flour 1/3 C

  • Whole wheat flour 1/3 C

  • Bread flour 2 1/3 C

  • Sunflower seeds 2 Tbs

  • *Flaxseed 2 Tbs

  • Bread-machine yeast 2 tsp

  • Lemon juice 1 tsp

  • Oil 1 1/2 Tbs

  • Water 1 1/8 C

*The flaxseed gives a good ratio of omega-3 to omega-6 fatty acids. If you don't like flaxseed or can't get it, use 1/4 C sunflower seed instead.
